The school is a great place for children to learn and grow. Shihan Beckham does a great job in keeping the kids interested and active while teaching the principles of Aikido. They really look up to him with great respect. Although he teaches them the principles of self defense he emphasizes the importance of avoiding confrontation and living an honorable life. The kids learn to train with one another and to take on responsibility as they train and lead newer students. Myself and other parents have seen our kids become more focused, more mature and even perform better in school as a result of Aikido training at the school.
